Redford von Runkel is a gorgeous, large 12 month old classic German Shepherd -- already about 85 pounds.  He thinks he is a person - he has a friendly personality and is a super house guest, polite and mannerly.  Children are his buddies and he conducts himself amicably around other dogs, even small dogs. During play time, sometimes he opts to sit on the sidelines and watch the other dogs play; it seems to give him pleasure.  Save a permanent seat for him in your car because Redford loves car rides and he promises to protect your "wheels" while you pop into a store or stop at an ATM.  He will content himself with his chew toys while you work at your computer or watch TV.  We don't know quite how big he will be when he fully matures but, if he were to wear shoes, we estimate they would have to be at least a size 12.  If you are looking for the perfect family dog, come meet Redford soon.
